Saint Louis High School, also styled St Louis High School, is a co-educational boarding and day secondary school at Kachere in Dedza, in the Central Region of Malawi. On its own website the school describes itself as a Christian institution on the slopes of Dedza Mountain, within Dedza township. The school gives its aim as moulding "competent, self-reliant and morally up-righted citizens with hands-on-approach in academics and sports". Its website names extracurricular activities including sports, arts, music, drama, debate and clubs, and lists a proprietor among its staff. It does not give a founding year, a denomination or the subjects taught. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Dedza lies about 85 km south of Lilongwe, just off the M1 road to Blantyre, and at about 1,590 metres is the highest town in Malawi. It sits below Dedza Mountain (2,198 m), serves as the administrative centre of Dedza district and is known for Dedza Pottery. The town had 30,928 residents at the 2018 census.
