Tsoka Mkanansi Community Day Secondary School

Tsoka Mkanansi Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school (CDSS) in Lilongwe, Malawi. Community day secondary schools are government secondary schools attended by day pupils from the surrounding area. They grew out of the former distance-education centres, which were converted into secondary schools in 1998. Malawian secondary education runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Lilongwe has been Malawi's capital since 1975, when it replaced Zomba, and is the country's largest city, with 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. It takes its name from the Lilongwe River, and is divided into numbered Areas, assigned in the order in which they were developed rather than by position. Kanengo, in the north of the city, is its main industrial area, and the Old Town remains the traditional commercial centre.
