Dzenza Secondary School

Dzenza Secondary School is a secondary school in the Dzenza ward of Lilongwe City, on the northern side of Malawi's capital. The Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres lists Dzenza Secondary School as a polling centre in the Dzenza ward of Lilongwe City Council, within the Lilongwe City Dzenza constituency. The register also lists Dzenza F.P. School, a full primary school, as a separate centre. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Alongside the older conventional secondary schools, many public schools are community day secondary schools (CDSS), which grew out of the former distance-education centres converted in 1998. Lilongwe has been Malawi's capital since 1975, when it replaced Zomba, and is the country's largest city, with 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. The city is divided into numbered Areas, assigned in the order in which they were developed, and into wards for local-government elections.
