St Louis Mzedi Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school (CDSS) in the Mzedi area of Blantyre, Malawi. Mzedi falls within the Mapanga-Mzedi ward of Blantyre City Council, which the Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres for Blantyre City places in the constituency it lists as "BT City Mapanga-Mpingwe-Mzedi". Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Community day secondary schools are day schools that grew out of the former distance-education centres, which were converted into CDSSs in 1998. Blantyre is Malawi's centre of finance and commerce and its second-largest city, with 800,264 residents at the 2018 census. It was founded in 1876 by Church of Scotland missionaries and named after David Livingstone's birthplace in Scotland, and in 1956 it merged with Limbe to form the present city.
