Ntonda Community Day Secondary School

Ntonda Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school at Ntonda in Ntcheu District, in the Central Region of Malawi. Ntonda is a ward of the Ntcheu South constituency, under Ntcheu District Council, according to the Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres, which lists Ntonda School and Ntonda Court among the ward's polling centres. Community day secondary schools (CDSS) grew out of the former distance-education centres, which were converted in 1998. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Ntcheu District covers 3,424 square kilometres and had 659,608 residents at the 2018 census. It lies on the M1, roughly halfway between Blantyre and Lilongwe, borders Mozambique, and has its headquarters at Ntcheu town, commonly called Mphate. Most of its people are Ngoni, and areas such as Njolomole and Lizulu are known for growing cabbages, tomatoes and potatoes.
