Namulenga Community Day Secondary School

Namulenga Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school (CDSS) at Namulenga in Mulanje District, in the Southern Region of Malawi. Its postal address is P.O. Box 42, Thuchila. In the Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres, the Mulanje District Council section lists Namulenga Boys School and Thuchila EPA among the registration and polling centres of the Namboya ward, in the Mulanje West constituency. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Community day secondary schools are government day schools that grew out of the former distance-education centres, which were converted into CDSSs in 1998; pupils attend daily from the surrounding area rather than boarding. Mulanje District lies in the south-east of the country on the border with Mozambique. Its administrative centre is Mulanje Boma, and it had 428,322 residents at the 2018 census. The district is known for its tea estates and for Mount Mulanje, whose Sapitwa peak, at just over 3,000 m, is the highest point in Malawi.
