Mulomba Community Day Secondary School

Mulomba Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school (CDSS) in Mulanje District, in the Southern Region of Malawi. The Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres, in its Mulanje District Council section, names Mulomba CDSS as the constituency tally centre for Mulanje North, the place where results from that constituency's polling centres are collated. The same section lists a Mulomba ward within Mulanje North, whose polling centres include Mulomba School. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4. Students finish with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Community day secondary schools developed from the former distance-education centres, which were converted into CDSSs in 1998. Mulanje District is known for its tea-growing industry and for Mount Mulanje, one of the highest peaks in southern Africa. The district had 428,322 residents at the 2018 census and is represented by nine constituencies in the National Assembly.
