JB Sports is a sportswear shop at 16016 Bawumbe Avenue, Francistown, Botswana. In April 2019 the government's Daily News reported that the company JB Sports had sponsored the national athletics championships of the Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) and the Botswana Primary Schools Association (BOPSSA) with P300,000 worth of equipment. The championships were held in Francistown that year. The company's general manager described the two associations as responsible for identifying and nurturing talent at grassroots level. Francistown is Botswana's second-largest city, with 103,417 inhabitants and 147,122 in its wider urban area at the 2022 census. It was founded in 1897 as a settlement near the Monarch mine, named after Daniel Francis, and was the centre of southern Africa's first gold rush. It lies about 400 km north-north-east of Gaborone and 90 km from the border with Zimbabwe. The shop's stock, brands, opening hours and contact details have not been published online.
