Nanthomba Secondary School is a secondary school at Nanthomba, just north of Dowa town in Dowa District, in the Central Region of Malawi. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination, set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Dowa is the administrative centre of Dowa District, which lies north-east of Lilongwe; the town had 7,135 residents at the 2018 census. The district stretches from the M1 trading town of Mponela to Lumbadzi on the edge of Lilongwe, and it also contains Dzaleka, Malawi's main refugee camp.
