Rise Malawi Secondary School

Rise Malawi Secondary School is a private secondary school at Madisi in Dowa District, in the Central Region of Malawi. Admission lists published by two public universities name it as the school of candidates they selected. The Malawi University of Science and Technology's first-year selection for 2024/25 gives "Rise Malawi (Pvt) Secondary" as the examination centre of students admitted to its degree programmes, and Mzuzu University's selection for 2025/26 gives "Rise Malawi (Pvt.) Sec." as the last school of students admitted to its Bachelor of Education programmes. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). MSCE results are the basis for selection to the public universities. Madisi is a trading centre in Dowa District, north of the capital, Lilongwe. The district also contains Mponela, a trading town on the M1, and Dzaleka, Malawi's main refugee camp. The school has not published its fees, admission arrangements or contact details online.
