Maranatha Private Secondary School is a private secondary school at Madisi in Dowa District, in the Central Region of Malawi. Dowa District lies north of Lilongwe and covers about 3,041 square kilometres. Its administrative centre is the town of Dowa. It is a farming district: cotton, tobacco and groundnuts are the main cash crops, and maize, sweet potatoes and pulses the main food crops. Most of its people are Chewa, with Ngoni farming communities and Yao traders in the trading centres.
