LMD Trading is a hardware store in Area 4, Lilongwe, Malawi. Lilongwe has been the capital of Malawi since 1975, when it replaced Zomba, and had 989,318 residents at the 2018 census, up from 674,448 in 2008. It stands on a plateau in central Malawi along the Lilongwe River, from which it takes its name. Lilongwe is broadly divided between an Old Town, with markets, bus stations, cafés and restaurants, and a newer city centre that holds government offices, embassies and hotels.
