Randera Hardware is a hardware shop in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. Lilongwe became Malawi's capital in 1975, replacing Zomba, and is the country's largest city, with 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. It lies in the Central Region, in the district of the same name, and takes its name from the Lilongwe River. The settlement began as a boma set up by the local leader Njewa around 1902 and became an administrative centre in 1904. The city is divided into numbered zones, Area 1 to Area 58, which are used in everyday addresses.
