Chikuluti CCAP Church is a congregation of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. The CCAP was constituted on 17 September 1924, when the Livingstonia and Blantyre synods, which grew out of Scottish missions founded in 1875 and 1876, united; the Nkhoma Synod, which grew from work begun in central Malawi in 1889 by the Cape Synod of the Dutch Reformed Church, joined in 1926. The church now has five synods: Blantyre, Livingstonia and Nkhoma in Malawi, and one each in Zambia and Zimbabwe. In 2024 it counted more than 3.1 million members in 1,366 congregations, served by 534 ministers. Lilongwe, named after the Lilongwe River, lies in the Central Region and replaced Zomba as the national capital in 1975. The city is divided into numbered Areas, from 1 to 58, allocated in the order in which they were developed rather than by position, and it had 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. The congregation has not published its service times, synod or minister's name online.
