Master Fashion Boutique is a clothing shop in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. Gaborone became the seat of the Bechuanaland Protectorate administration in 1965, when it moved from Mafeking, and the capital of independent Botswana on 30 September 1966. It was built from 1964 as a planned town on garden-city lines and takes its name from Kgosi Gaborone of the Batlokwa. The city lies between Kgale Hill and Oodi Hill, near the confluence of the Notwane and Segoditshane rivers and within 15 km of the South African border. Its Main Mall, a car-free commercial strip, is the traditional centre of the city's shopping. Gaborone had 246,325 residents at the 2022 census, about a tenth of the national population.
