Luzi Community Day Secondary School

Luzi Community Day Secondary School is a community day secondary school near Ng'onga, east of Rumphi Boma in Rumphi District, northern Malawi. The name Luzi is borne by a stream in Rumphi District and also by a separate locality further south, in Mzimba District. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Community day secondary schools grew out of the former distance-education centres, which were converted into CDSSs in 1998. Rumphi District lies in Malawi's Northern Region and stretches from the Zambian border in the west to Lake Malawi in the east; its administrative centre is Rumphi. The Nyika Plateau, much of it within Nyika National Park, occupies the centre of the district, and Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve lies in the west. Chitumbuka is the predominant language. Other settlements in the district include Livingstonia, Chilumba and Chiweta. The school has not published a telephone number, enrolment figures, term dates or admission arrangements online.
