Limbe Bus Depot is a bus station in Limbe, Blantyre, Malawi. Limbe lies about 11 km east of the centre of Blantyre. It was established in 1909 and merged with Blantyre in 1956, and the two now form a single city. Limbe is the operational headquarters and workshop centre of Malawi Railways and one of the main industrial areas of Blantyre District. It is known for its long-established Asian Malawian trading community and a growing number of Chinese-owned businesses, and it has a transport museum. Blantyre was founded as a Church of Scotland mission in 1876 and named after David Livingstone's birthplace in Scotland. It is Malawi's commercial capital and its second-largest city.
