Kuka Lodge is a lodge in Area 43, in the north-east of Lilongwe, Malawi. The lodge has not published a website, room types, rates, facilities or booking arrangements. Lilongwe has been Malawi's capital since 1975, when it replaced Zomba, and is the country's largest city, with 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. It stands on a plateau at about 1,050 metres beside the Lilongwe River. Its neighbourhoods are numbered Areas, assigned in the order in which they were developed rather than by location. The older part of the city, Old Town, holds the main markets and bus stations, while the newer City Centre holds government offices, embassies and hotels. Anyone planning a stay is advised to confirm availability and rates directly before travelling.
