Atomic Hardware

Atomic Hardware is a hardware and steel supplier on Henderson Street in Blantyre, Malawi. Blantyre is Malawi's centre of finance and commerce and its second-largest city, with 800,264 residents at the 2018 census. It was founded in 1876 by Church of Scotland missionaries and named after Blantyre in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, the birthplace of David Livingstone. In 1956 it merged with Limbe, a settlement some 11 kilometres (7 miles) to the east that had been established in 1909, to form the present city. The city has eight designated industrial areas, of which Makata and Limbe are the heavy industrial sites, together hosting more than 30 companies; the others include Ginnery Corner, Maselema, Chirimba and Maone. Blantyre is also a transport hub, with road, rail and air links to the rest of Malawi and to neighbouring countries.
