Nswazi Mall is a shopping centre in Francistown, Botswana's second-largest city. Francistown lies in eastern Botswana, about 400 km north-east of Gaborone and some 90 km from the border with Zimbabwe. It was established in 1897 as a gold-mining settlement, when the Tati Concessions Company sold off 300 plots to form the town centre, and is named after Daniel Francis, an English prospector from Liverpool who acquired prospecting licences in the region in 1869. The city had 103,417 inhabitants at the 2022 census. Mining, commerce and agriculture have long been central to its economy, and it is a road and rail hub for the north-east of the country. The mall has not published its opening hours, a list of its shops or a management contact online.
