Max T Solutions Selebi Phikwe is a tyre shop at 2708 Mopapa John Paul Road, Selebi-Phikwe, in eastern Botswana. Copper-nickel deposits were discovered around Selebi and Phikwe in the 1960s, and a mine and a township were built to work them; the town takes its name from the two sites. The mine, run by BCL Limited, dominated local employment for decades. BCL had planned to close it by 2010 and later by 2013, and it finally ceased operations in September 2016. The town is administered separately from the surrounding Central District and had 42,488 residents at the 2022 census. The Phikwe Industrial Area houses factories and other businesses, the nearby Letsibogo Dam is used for fishing and birdwatching, and the town hosts the Phikwe Marathon.
