ISIS Village is a residential development on Zeerust Road in Tlokweng, in Botswana's South-East District, just east of Gaborone. Tlokweng lies across the Notwane River from the capital and is generally regarded as part of the Gaborone conurbation, although it is governed by the South-East District Council rather than by the city. It is the home of the Batlokwa, and its population was 35,982 at the 2011 census. The road east through the village leads to the border crossing with South Africa, about 15 km away. The village is familiar to readers of Alexander McCall Smith's No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency novels, in which the mechanic J. L. B. Matekoni, born and raised in Tlokweng, runs the garage Tlokweng Road Speedy Motors. The development's management, size and any letting or sales arrangements have not been published online.
