Viva Fitness and Gym Zomba

Viva Fitness and Gym Zomba is a gym in the city of Zomba, in southern Malawi. Zomba lies in the Shire Highlands and is linked to Blantyre by the M3 road. It was the capital of British Central Africa and then of the Nyasaland Protectorate, and after independence in 1964 served as Malawi's first capital until the government moved to Lilongwe in the 1970s; Parliament continued to sit in Zomba until 1994. The city had 105,013 residents at the 2018 census. It is a university town, home to Chancellor College of the University of Malawi, and is overlooked by Zomba Plateau, which rises to about 1,800 metres and is used for hiking, birdwatching and rock climbing. The gym has not published membership fees, class timetables or opening hours online, so it is worth phoning ahead before travelling.
