VelleMusic Instruments is a music shop in Limbe, Blantyre, Malawi. It trades from Room 27 on the second floor of a building on Livingstone Avenue, opposite the police building and next to the Limbe branch of the mobile network TNM. Limbe lies about 11 kilometres east of central Blantyre. It was founded in 1909 and merged with Blantyre in 1956, and the two together form Malawi's centre of finance and commerce. Limbe was the operational headquarters and workshop of Malawi Railways, is the site of many of Blantyre district's industries, and has long been known for its trading community. TNM, whose Limbe branch stands next door, is one of Malawi's mobile telephone networks. The shop has not published its stock, prices, or whether it repairs instruments or offers lessons; phoning ahead before travelling is advisable.
