Prosight Eye Clinic Lilongwe

Prosight Eye Clinic Lilongwe is an eye clinic in Lilongwe, Malawi. Malawi's Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) lists a Pro-Sight Clinic in Lilongwe District in its register of dispensing licences, under licence number PMPB/DL/239, registered on 2 January 2008. The register gives the clinic's location as "Old Mwaiwathu Clinic". PMRA regulates medicines and pharmacy practice in Malawi under the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority Act of 2019, and publishes separate registers for retail pharmacies, wholesale pharmacies and clinics licensed to dispense medicines. Lilongwe became Malawi's capital in 1975, replacing Zomba, and is now the country's largest city, with 989,318 residents at the 2018 census. It lies on a plateau in the Central Region, along the Lilongwe River. The city is divided into numbered areas, assigned in the order in which they were created rather than by position, and into an Old Town, with markets, bus stations and restaurants, and a newer centre that holds government offices, embassies and hotels.
