Pius XII Minor Seminary is a Catholic minor seminary at Nguludi in Chiradzulu District, in the Southern Region of Malawi. In the Catholic Church a minor seminary is a school at secondary level for boys who are considering the priesthood. Pupils follow ordinary secondary schooling alongside religious formation, and those who go on towards ordination continue their training at a major seminary. In Malawi, secondary education runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Nguludi lies several kilometres east of Limbe. Its Catholic mission was founded in 1901 and was ransacked during the Chilembwe Rising of 1915. The settlement is also home to St Joseph's Hospital, St Joseph's College of Nursing and the Montfort Press. The Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres places Nguludi in the Chiradzulu Nguludi constituency of Chiradzulu District Council. Chiradzulu District covers 761 square kilometres and had 356,875 residents at the 2018 census. The seminary has not published admission arrangements, fees or contact details online, so it is worth making enquiries before travelling.
