Patson Produce (Pty) Ltd is a food manufacturer at Plot MC 195 in the Chirimba Industrial Area on Chileka Road, Blantyre, Malawi. Chirimba is one of eight designated industrial areas in Blantyre, alongside Makata, Ginnery Corner, Maselema, Limbe, South Lunzu, Maone and Chitawira. Chileka Road runs north out of the city towards Chileka International Airport, which lies about 14 km from the city centre and is the second base of the national carrier, Malawian Airlines. Blantyre is Malawi's centre of finance and commerce and its second-largest city, with 800,264 residents at the 2018 census. It grew from a Church of Scotland mission founded in 1876 and is named after Blantyre in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, the birthplace of the explorer David Livingstone. In 1956 it merged with Limbe, to the east, which had grown up around the railway and the tobacco trade.
