Nyuka Autoparts Blantyre is a motor vehicle spare parts shop on Haile Selassie Avenue in central Blantyre, Malawi. Haile Selassie Road is one of the streets that marked out Blantyre's original commercial centre. Between 1876 and 1905 the town's government zone and commercial centre formed a triangle bounded by Haile Selassie Road, Glyn Jones Road and Hannover Street, close to the Blantyre Mission and the Mandala commercial venture. Blantyre is Malawi's centre of finance and commerce and its second-largest city, with a population of 800,264 at the 2018 census. It grew from a Church of Scotland mission founded in 1876 and takes its name from Blantyre in Scotland, the birthplace of the explorer David Livingstone. While Lilongwe is the political capital, Blantyre remains the country's commercial and industrial capital.
