Nyambadwe Police Station is a police station in Nyambadwe, a residential area of Blantyre in southern Malawi, north-east of the city centre and next to Ndirande. Policing throughout Malawi is the responsibility of the Malawi Police Service, which organises its stations by region; Blantyre's stations fall under the South West Region. The service's website, police.gov.mw, publishes a directory of station telephone numbers and gives 997 as its national toll-free number for emergencies. The Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register places Nyambadwe in the Nyambadwe-Ndirande New Lines ward of Blantyre City Council, whose polling centres include Nyambadwe F.P. School and Blantyre Secondary School. Blantyre was founded in 1876 through the missionary work of the Church of Scotland and named after the Scottish birthplace of David Livingstone. It is Malawi's second-largest city and its centre of finance and commerce, with 800,264 residents at the 2018 census. The station's own telephone number and opening arrangements have not been published; in an emergency, the national police number is 997.
