Mbomba Secondary School

Mbomba Secondary School is a secondary school in the Mbomba and Malomo area of Ntchisi district, in Malawi's Central Region. The Malawi Electoral Commission's 2025 register of centres lists Mbomba F.P. School and Malomo F.P. School, both full primary schools, as centres in the Chipata ward of the Ntchisi North constituency, in Ntchisi District Council. Secondary education in Malawi runs from Form 1 to Form 4 and ends with the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Ntchisi district covers about 1,655 square kilometres of the Central Region, with its administrative centre at Ntchisi. The 2018 census recorded 317,069 people in the district, most of whom depend on farming, with beans and potatoes among the leading crops. The district lies between about 1,300 and 1,700 metres above sea level and includes the Ntchisi Mountain Forest Reserve, about 75 square kilometres of protected indigenous forest.
