Malonda Primary School is a primary school in the Hawilani area of Ntcheu District, in the Central Region of Malawi. Primary education in Malawi runs from Standard 1 to Standard 8 and ends with the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE), set by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB). Tuition has been free in government primary schools since 1994. Ntcheu District borders Mozambique and lies roughly halfway between Blantyre and Lilongwe, which are linked through it by the M1. It covers 3,424 km² and had 659,608 residents at the 2018 census. Most of its people are Ngoni, and the district is known for vegetables such as cabbages, tomatoes and potatoes, grown in areas including Njolomole and Lizulu.
