LUANAR Mzuzu Campus is a site of the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) on Kanjedza Drive in Mzuzu, Mzimba District, Malawi. LUANAR's website gives its campuses as Bunda, the City Campus and NRC, and does not list a campus in Mzuzu. Its Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL) pages, however, state that ODeL has three centres, in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu, and name a coordinator and an ICT technician for the Mzuzu satellite centre. LUANAR was created by Act of Parliament No. 22 of 2011, through the merger of Bunda College of Agriculture, then part of the University of Malawi, with the Natural Resources College (NRC). It began operating on 1 July 2012, and NRC was fully integrated into the university in December 2014. Its main campus is at Bunda, outside Lilongwe. Mzuzu is the capital of Malawi's Northern Region and the country's third-largest city, with 221,272 residents at the 2018 census. It lies in a gap in the Viphya Mountains. The city is also home to Mzuzu University, a separate public university founded in 1999. Enquiries about ODeL programmes go to the university's ODeL office, which gives odl@luanar.ac.mw as its email address.
