Home and Curtains Kings Malawi is a curtain shop on Browns Road in Blantyre, in Malawi's Southern Region. Blantyre is Malawi's centre of finance and commerce and its second-largest city, with 800,264 residents at the 2018 census. It grew from a Church of Scotland mission founded in 1876 and is named after Blantyre in Scotland, the birthplace of the explorer David Livingstone. It had become a municipality by 1895, making it the country's oldest, and in 1956 it merged with Limbe, about 11 kilometres to the east, to form a single city. Blantyre is often described as Malawi's commercial and industrial capital, as distinct from the political capital, Lilongwe.
