Chipiku Plus Zomba

Chipiku Plus Zomba is a supermarket in Zomba, in the Southern Region of Malawi, trading under the Chipiku Plus name. Zomba is a city of 105,013 people (2018 census), about 75 kilometres from Blantyre by the M3 road. It was the capital of colonial Nyasaland and then of independent Malawi until 1975, when Lilongwe replaced it; Parliament continued to sit in Zomba until 1994. The city lies at the foot of the Zomba Plateau, which rises to about 1,800 metres and carries African juniper and mixed woodland; walkers who reach the top can see as far as Lake Chilwa and Mount Mulanje. In the town centre, a market draws farmers from the surrounding villages selling their produce, alongside traders in second-hand clothing, basic household goods, and fresh and dried fish from the region's lakes.
