TylerStev Internet Cafe (Graphitec)

TylerStev Internet Cafe (Graphitec) is an internet cafe at Plot 869, African Mall, in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. An internet cafe sells time on internet-connected computers to members of the public, for people who have no computer or connection of their own, or who need one while away from home or the office. The African Mall is one of Gaborone's shopping centres. The city was founded in 1964 as a planned capital, and in 1965, the year before independence, the administration of the Bechuanaland Protectorate moved there from Mafeking. It was laid out on garden-city principles, with pedestrian walkways and open spaces; its centre is a long car-free commercial strip, the Main Mall, with a semicircle of government offices to the east. The 2022 census counted 246,325 people in the city and 534,842 in the wider metropolitan area. The cafe has not published its opening hours, rates or the services it offers, so it is worth phoning ahead before travelling.
