STI Clinic is a clinic for sexually transmitted infections in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. In Botswana, the Ministry of Health's HIV Testing Services programme provides HIV and STI counselling and testing. The government's service page states that testing is free for citizens and non-citizens of all ages and that results are available the same day, except for infants under 18 months, whose results take up to 14 working days. It adds that testing is offered at public and private health facilities and at designated civil society organisations. Gaborone became Botswana's capital at independence on 30 September 1966. It lies between Kgale Hill and Oodi Hill, near the confluence of the Notwane and Segoditshane rivers, within 15 kilometres of the South African border, and had 246,325 residents at the 2022 census, about a tenth of the country's population. The clinic's operator, telephone number and opening hours have not been published online; the Ministry of Health's HIV Testing Services office, which covers STI counselling and testing nationally, can be reached on +267 363 2313.
