Stepping Stones International

Stepping Stones International is a non-governmental organization located in Gaborone, Botswana. Our mission is to empower vulnerable youth in Botswana through education, life skills, and leadership development. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.

At Stepping Stones International, we provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to learn and grow. Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges facing vulnerable youth in Botswana, including poverty, HIV/AIDS, and gender inequality. We work closely with local communities to identify the most pressing needs and develop programs that are tailored to meet those needs.

Our flagship program is the Youth Development Program, which provides comprehensive support to youth aged 12-18. The program includes academic support, life skills training, and leadership development. We also offer a Girls Empowerment Program, which focuses on empowering young girls to become leaders in their communities. This program includes mentorship, life skills training, and education on gender equality.

In addition to our youth programs, we also work to promote community development in Botswana. We partner with local organizations to provide training and support for community leaders, and we work to promote sustainable development practices that benefit both people and the environment.
