St John Apostolic Faith Mission of Botswana is an apostolic church in Gaborone, Botswana. The denomination was founded by Archbishop Andrew Ndubano, who died in 2021. In a report dated 1 August 2021 on the founder's burial in Francistown, the Daily News, the Botswana government's news service, recorded that Archbishop Ndubano, aged 85, had died of COVID-19 on 25 July. It credited him with establishing the church's 150 branches in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, and recorded that the church first worshipped at a homestead in Monarch, Francistown, before he acquired the plot on which he built what is now its headquarters. Among the speakers was Bishop Malani Morapedi, a member of the church's executive committee, and the report refers to a split in the church during Ndubano's leadership. Ndubano had also served as a Botswana Democratic Party councillor in Gweta from 1974 to 1994 and received the Presidential Award for selfless service to the nation. Gaborone has been Botswana's seat of government since 1965, when it replaced Mafeking; the modern town was founded in 1964 and had 246,325 residents at the 2022 census. Francistown, where the church began, is the country's second-largest city, about 400 km to the north-north-east. The church has not published service times or contact details for its Gaborone church online.
