Sheet Street Game City

Sheet Street Game City is a Sheet Street bedding and homeware store at Game City, a shopping mall in Gaborone, Botswana. Sheet Street is a brand of the South African retailer Mr Price Group. Mr Price Group dates from 1985, when the first Mr Price Factory store opened in Klerksdorp, South Africa. The group bought Sheet Street in 1996 to enter the homeware market, and reports it as part of its homeware business. It trades mainly in South Africa and in Central and Eastern Europe, and has stores in eight other sub-Saharan African countries. Game City, formally the Gamecity Lifestyle Shopping Mall, is owned by Turnstar Holdings. Turnstar describes it as the first indoor mall to be built in Botswana, with about 70,000 square metres of space and 140 shops, including clothing, homeware and furniture shops, restaurants, banking facilities and a Game store as its flagship. Gaborone is Botswana's capital and largest city, with 246,325 residents at the 2022 census. It lies close to the South African border, between Kgale Hill and Oodi Hill. Sheet Street has not published a shop number, telephone number or trading hours for the Game City store, so it is worth confirming that the store is open before making a special trip.
