PASDEC Lobatse

PASDEC Lobatse is an enterprise based at the Lobatse Clay Works site in Lobatse, Botswana. Lobatse lies about 70 kilometres south of Gaborone, near the border with South Africa, and has its own town council; it had 29,772 residents at the 2022 census. The town hosted Botswana's first Parliament and was an administrative centre before the capital moved to Gaborone. Its institutions include the Botswana Meat Commission's meat processing plant, one of the largest in Africa, a seat of the High Court, Lobatse Prison and Sbrana Psychiatric Hospital. Lobatse Stadium, with room for about 20,000 spectators, and Lobatse Senior Secondary School are also in the town, which is twinned with Walvis Bay in Namibia. PASDEC Lobatse has not published what it makes or does, its opening hours or its contact details online, so it is worth asking locally before travelling.
