Liquorama - Molapo Crossing

Liquorama – Molapo Crossing is a liquor store in the Molapo Crossing shopping centre in Gaborone, Botswana, and an outlet of the Liquorama chain. It is on the ground floor, opposite the Northside parking lot. The centre's tenant directory gives the store's trading hours as 09:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and 09:00 to 14:00 at weekends, and says it opens every day, including public holidays. In its entry there, Liquorama describes a range of local and international beers, ciders, spirits and coolers, wines from South African vineyards, and an in-house brand of boxed wine, Cape Select, and says that every Liquorama store is managed and staffed by citizens of Botswana. Liquorama is one of the store formats of Choppies Enterprises, the Gaborone-based retail group. Choppies' integrated annual report for the year to 30 June 2025 describes Liquorama as liquor retail and wholesale stores and counts 85 of them in Botswana, up from 75 a year earlier. The group was founded in 1986 with a single shop, Wayside Supermarket, in Lobatse, and has been listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange since 2012; the same report gives it 287 stores in Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.
