Lesetlhana Clinic

Lesetlhana Clinic is a medical clinic in Ramotswa, the administrative capital of the South-East District of Botswana. Lesetlhana is also the name of the Ramotswa ward that houses the village's central business district. Ramotswa lies south-west of Gaborone and had 27,760 people at the 2011 census. It is the tribal capital of the Balete, and Kgosi Mosadi Seboko, who became their paramount chief after her brother's death, was the first woman to serve as a paramount chief in Botswana. Local industry includes a wheat flour mill and metal-product manufacturing. The climate is semi-arid, with savanna vegetation; only about a fifth of the land is cultivated, though livestock numbers are high. The South-East District covers 1,780 square kilometres and surrounds the capital, Gaborone. It had 111,440 people at the 2022 census, up from 60,623 in 2001, and is divided into two sub-districts, Ramotswa and Tlokweng. To the south-east it borders South Africa's North West Province.
