Goldwagen was established in 1992, beginning with Volkswagen and Audi parts before widening its range. The franchisor is Worldwide Automotive Group (Enterprises) (Pty) Ltd, based in Centurion, Gauteng, and each Goldwagen store is individually owned and operated by its franchisee. The network reports over 130 franchises across the region, with stores elsewhere in Harare, Eswatini, Windhoek and Maseru. The store supplies parts equivalent to original equipment for Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Haval, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Opel, Renault, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. Brands stocked include Bosch, Continental, MAHLE, Monroe, SKF, Hella, Liqui Moly, BILSTEIN, Garrett, Arnott and Wolf Lubricants. A parts-finder service is offered. It trades Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00 and Sunday from 08:00 to 12:00.
