Boswelakoko Clinic is a health clinic in Molepolole, in the Kweneng District of Botswana. Botswana's public health service is organised into 27 health districts, with primary health care as the pillar of the system. The Ministry of Health and Wellness describes clinics as bringing health services within the reach of communities, and grades its community facilities as mobile stops, health posts, clinics and clinics with maternity. For life-threatening illness or injury the ministry directs the public to the national emergency number, 997. Molepolole lies about 50 km west of Gaborone and is the capital of the Bakwena, one of Botswana's eight major tribes. With 74,674 people at the 2022 census it is one of the largest traditional villages in Africa. It replaced Ntsweng as the Bakwena capital in 1937, has a large traditional kgotla, and is home to the Scottish Livingstone Hospital. Whether the clinic is run by the government or privately, the services it offers and its opening hours have not been published online, so phoning ahead before travelling is advisable.
