Africana Rottweiler Kennel is a dog-breeding kennel on Gatshwane Street in Francistown, Botswana. Francistown is the second-largest city in Botswana. It grew out of the region's gold discoveries: gold was found nearby in 1869, sparking southern Africa's first gold rush, and the settlement was established in 1897 near the Monarch mine. The city is named after Daniel Francis, an English prospector who obtained prospecting licences in the area, and lies at the confluence of the Tati and Ntshe rivers, about 90 km from the border with Zimbabwe. The 2022 census counted about 103,000 people in the city itself. Details of its dogs, bloodlines, health testing and kennel-club registration, its prices and the availability of puppies have not been published, so phoning ahead before travelling is advisable.
