MANEB

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) is an educational body responsible for administering national examinations in Malawi. In order to ensure that the examination process in the Malawian educational system is standardised, MANEB was established in 1987 through an Act of Parliament. Malawi's primary, secondary, and teacher preparation examinations are administered by MANEB. The Primary School Leaving Certificate Examinations (PSLCE), which are taken at the conclusion of the eighth year of primary school, are the primary exams. The Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) exams, which are taken at the conclusion of the fourth year of secondary school, are the secondary education exams. The Teacher Certificate Examinations (TCE), which are taken by teachers at various stages of their training, are also administered by MANEB. The main goal of MANEB is to encourage academic excellence in Malawi by making sure that every student receives a high-quality education from the educational system.
