Botshelo Trust

Botshelo Trust is a non-governmental organization located in the heart of Shakawe, Botswana. Our mission is to empower and uplift the lives of the local community through various initiatives and programs. We believe that every individual deserves access to basic necessities such as education, healthcare, and clean water, and we strive to make this a reality for the people of Shakawe.

Our organization is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that will have a lasting impact on the community. We work closely with local leaders and community members to identify their needs and develop programs that address these needs. Our programs include education and training, healthcare services, and water and sanitation projects.

One of our flagship programs is our education and training program. We believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and improving the quality of life for individuals and communities. Through this program, we provide scholarships and bursaries to students who would otherwise not have access to education. We also offer vocational training programs that equip individuals with the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.

In addition to our education and training program, we also provide healthcare services to the community. We believe that access to quality healthcare is a basic human right, and we work tirelessly to ensure that everyone in the community has access to the care they need. Our healthcare services include medical check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for common illnesses.

Finally, we recognize the importance of clean water and sanitation in promoting good health and preventing disease. That's why we have implemented water and sanitation projects in the community. These projects include the construction of boreholes and the installation of water pumps, as well as the construction of latrines and handwashing stations.
